Lesson #2: Using EQs with Transition and Beat Matching

• Learn how to use EQs for smooth transitions.
• Practice beat matching by ear.
• Understand of headphone cueing.
• Familiarize yourself with DJ equipment and where to purchase it.

Lesson #3: Transitions with EQs, Introduction to Effects, and Color Filters

Learning Objectives:

• Master transitions using EQs.
• Get an introduction to DJ effects and color filters.
• Develop a deeper understanding of DJ equipment.
• Learn about various online resources for music downloads.

Lesson #4: Advanced Techniques - Loops, Music Library, and Song Downloads

• Learn how to use loops effectively in mixing.
• Build and organize your music library.
• Discover reliable sources for downloading songs.
• Understand key mixing using Mixed-In-Key and the Camelot system.

Lesson #5: Pioneer Rekordbox and Creating Music Libraries

• Get acquainted with Pioneer Rekordbox and Mixed in Key software.
• Learn to create and manage a music library in Rekordbox.
• Understand the process of uploading your library to a USB drive.

Lesson #6: Advanced Mixing Techniques

Learning Objectives:

• Explore advanced mixing techniques, including transitions with filters, loops, and effects.
• Understand how to use hot cues effectively.
• Spin back on vinyl mode

Lesson #7: The Art of Effects and Combining with Filters, Loops, and Vinyl Mode

• Master the use of DJ effects and when to apply them.
• Learn to combine effects with filters, loops, and spin back using vinyl mode.

Lesson #8: Building a DJ Set for Different Events and Back-to-Back DJing

• Explore the art of playing back-to-back with another DJ.

Lesson #9:  Preparing for final exam

• Creating a playlist in a chosen genre and practicing all the course material learned by the student.
• Explaining DJ Etiquette in the industry

Lesson #10: Final Exam

• Perform and record a  30-minute  DJ set of the selection of your tracks using all knowledge that you received through the course
• Discover essential DJ etiquette tips.
• Learn how to build a successful DJ career.
• Understand the importance of social media for DJs.
• Explore the role of management and booking agencies in the industry.
